Privacy Policy
Last updated: · This is a template — have it reviewed for your jurisdiction before going live.
ÉCLAT (“we”, “the atelier”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why we collect it, and the rights you have. We are a data controller based in [your country / company details].
1. What we collect
- Enquiry data — when you submit the consultation form we collect your name, email, and any details you choose to provide (phone, country, budget, preferred date and your message).
- Usage data — if you accept analytics cookies, anonymised page-view and referral information.
2. Why we use it
To respond to your consultation request, prepare for our conversation, and — only if you opt in — to send you occasional updates. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
3. Legal basis (GDPR)
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent and the performance of steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR). Analytics run only on consent, captured via our cookie banner.
4. Where data is stored
Enquiries and content are stored with our hosting and database providers (Supabase — EU region, and our static-site host). Payment data, once introduced, is handled by our payment provider (Stripe) and never stored on our servers.
5. Retention
We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to follow up and for legitimate record-keeping, then delete it. You may ask us to delete your data at any time.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these, contact us below. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
7. Cookies
We use one strictly necessary cookie to remember your consent choice. Optional analytics cookies load only after you accept. You can change your choice anytime via “Cookie Settings” in the footer.
